SAD, BUT TRUE...
A Kokomo woman was arrested after allegedly leaving her infant boy in an unheated car while she and a friend went into a strip club, police said.
Tiffany Eagle, 22, faces preliminary charges of public intoxication and felony neglect, said Lt. David L. Galloway with the Kokomo police. Ashley Tomaszewski, 21, was also arrested and faces the same charges, he said.
Police responded around 3 a.m. Sunday to a report of an unattended child inside a parked car at Big Daddy's Showclub, Galloway said.
Investigating officers said the car was not running when they arrived. Both women were found inside the bar and were arrested. Both were being held at the Howard County Jail Sunday night.
The child was not injured. He was released to a family member and the Howard County Child Protection Service was notified.
