The city of Glendale has announced that Steve Conrad will be the next Chief of the Glendale Police Department.
During the past several months, the city of Glendale has conducted an extensive national recruitment process to find a new chief of police.
After narrowing the field of more than sixty candidates through review of their qualifications, interview processes and background assessments, Conrad rose to the top as the candidate that clearly demonstrated the skills and experience, important to our community, to become the next chief.
“I am excited about the opportunity to come to Glendale,” states Mr. Conrad. “I look forward to joining a department that has a rich tradition of serving the community and am honored to play a role in its future.”
Conrad will officially begin his duties on December 28, 2005.
