To Whom It May Concern:
My agency is presently dealing with what may be the greatest natural disaster ever to hit our country. I am writing this letter because I need help from the law enforcement community.
Your mission, should you accept, will be to aid the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office in securing our parish and help us serve as a staging area for agencies providing relief to the New Orleans metropolitan area. You will work exclusively in St. Charles Parish under my direction. I can only promise to make you as comfortable as my officers.
Responding officers will be staged and housed at the Destrehan High School, # 1 Wildcat Lane, Destrehan, La. 70047. Responders must respond to the New Orleans area from the west (I-10, I-55, US61 or US90) as highways east of New Orleans are not passable.
We need your assistance ASAP. Whatever I can do to facilitate your arrival I will do. Please contact Capt. Pat Yoes who will act as my liaison. His contact information is 504-329-8729; or patyoes@stcharlessheriff.org or nationalsecretary@grandlodgefop.org. Should you have any trouble contacting him try us at our EOC (985-783-5050 or 985-783-3080). Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide to us in this grave time of need.
