Dear Member:
On or about January 5, 2005, each member of C.E.R.S. either active or retired will receive a ballot at his/her home. It is very important that this ballot be returned by March 1, 2005.
This ballot is for the purpose of voting for Trustee on the Kentucky Retirement System. We strongly urge you to vote for Brother Ed Davis and Mr. John Freeman.
Ed Davis is retired from the Jefferson County Police Department and is a former member of both the old Louisville F.O.P. Lodge 6 and Jefferson County Lodge 14. He is a current member of River City Lodge 614 and a Board Member as well. He has served on the F.O.P. Board of Directors for over 19 years. As your elected Trustee on the Retirement Board, he currently serves on the following committees:
Chairman of Health Insurance over 65
Budget and Legislative
Disability and Administrative Appeals
Investment
Also serving on the Kentucky Group Insurance Board
John Freeman is employed by the Jefferson County Public Schools as Fiscal Coordinator, Student Assignment, Health & Safety and the JCPS Gheens Professional Development Academy. John has been employed by the school system since 1989. John serves on the following committees as your elected Trustee on the Retirement Systems:

Investment
Both Ed and John have been endorsed by The Kentucky State F.O.P. Lodge, the State Professional Firefighters, and the Louisville Professional Firefighters to just name a few.
