Providence police said Tuesday they have arrested a suspect for firing a hail of bullets into a police substation.Twenty-two shots hit the front window of the Camp Street substation in November. Many passed through partitions and into the building's back wall.Dara Vang, 23, was charged with the crime. The suspect is being held at the Wyatt Detention Center in Central Falls.Police were asked about a possible motive."I think clearly, a lot of people were unhappy that the Providence Police Department was coming to Camp Street," Maj. Paul Kennedy said. "He clearly was one of those people. He also clearly was the minority."While no one was at the substation at the time, officers come and go 24 hours a day.

Someone fired a hail of bullets into a Providence police substation overnight Saturday, News Channel 10 reported.
It happened at the Camp Street station. Twenty-two shots hit the front window -- many passing through partitions and into the building's back wall.
Police think it happened sometime after midnight.
While no oÂne was at the substation at the time, officers come and go 24 hours a day, police said.
Police said they believe there were witnesses to the shooting, and they will seek out those responsible.
"We are determined to stay here," said Providence police Lt. Al Ziegelmayer.
