Jennifer Baileys

Jennifer Baileys joined the WLKY News Team as an anchor and investigative reporter in October of 2014.

She is a two-time Emmy winner with more than 10 years of journalism experience. She grew up on a farm in Elizabeth, West Virginia, where she enjoyed being involved in groups such as 4-H and pageants.

She graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Psychology. While at Marshall, the Hearst Foundation recognized Jennifer as one of the top college journalists in the country.

Jennifer worked at WSAZ NewsChannel 3 in Huntington, West Virginia for two years before moving to Louisville, Kentucky in January 2006 to work at WDRB.

In 2013, she took a break from the news world to spend more time with her family. Jennifer met and married her husband Chris in Louisville. They have one daughter Elliana and two dogs. She enjoys family time, traveling to warm places, judging pageants and exploring Kentuckiana.
