From "the Greatest Two Minutes in Sports" to "the Greatest Spectacle in Racing," Marisela Burgos joined FOX 59 as a General Assignment News Reporter in May 2011. She didn't travel too far to move here, just South on 65 in Louisville, KY.

She covered a variety of stories, including in Southern Indiana, for WAVE 3 News, getting nominated for an AP award for Best Investigative news story. Her most memorable moment, covering Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby.

Marisela Burgos has also worked at a station in North Carolina. She graduated from Florida International University with honors. She was born in Puerto Rico and visits all the time.
