Emily Mieure

Emily Mieure joined WDRB as a general assignment reporter in March 2013. She was born and raised in the small town of Lawrenceville, Illinois and graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2010 with a degree in Communications with a broadcast news emphasis. She landed her first job at WFIE, the NBC affiliate in Evansville, Indiana where she worked as the live morning reporter.

Emily first found her passion for broadcast news in college where she worked at WEIU, the student-run PBS news station at EIU.

Emily is excited to call Louisville home. When Emily isn't working, she likes to read, dine at local restaurants and explore the riverfront and local parks.
